I’d messed around with using my laptop screen as a second monitor at work before, but I ended up not using the extra space and then not even bothering the open the lid when I’d come in the next day. But now that I’m used to our 22″ inch wide-screen LCD monitor at home, I find my little 3:4 ratio 17″ CRT at work to be a little cramped. So, finally, extending my desktop to my laptop screen at work really feels right and fits my window management habits nicely. And, with a dual-screen wallpaper tool like DisplayFusion, it looks kind of cool (despite my old beige Dell CRT dragging me back to the 90’s).
