Now there’s an off-beat Holiday I can get behind. I should have taken the day off from work. To celebrate, I’ll whip out this old picture I took of an ice cream sandwich and tell you all to enjoy feasting on one with your eyes if nothing else. Have you tried nuking them in the microwave for a few seconds? Eight seconds on high heats up the cookie enough to make it taste fresh and the ice cream gets nice and soft.

I like to wait until the ice cream is soft, and then lick around the edges of the cookies. Mmm, mmm. Then I proceed to biting.
